San Mateo Superior Court Odyssey Attorney Portal Account

Dear User,

Thank you for registering for an account at the San Mateo County Superior Court Odyssey Attorney Portal at https://odyportal.sanmateocourt.org. At this point, we can only accept registration with an email account matching the public-facing email address on file with the California State Bar: http://www.calbar.ca.gov/. Since your portal email address does not match with your public-facing email on file with the Bar, we will deny your portal access request. You will receive a system-generated email about the denial of access.

In order for us to approve your registration, you may choose one of the two options:

  1. Contact the CA State Bar to add/update the PUBLIC-FACING email account on file with them for your record. The public-facing email account with the CA State Bar must match the email account you are trying to register with for the Odyssey Attorney Portal. Once this information is updated on their site, please follow these steps to request access again:

    a) Log on to the Portal at https://odyportal.sanmateocourt.org/portal
      Username: <The email address you used for portal registration>
    b) Click on the pull down menu next to the "Welcome" icon
    c) Select "Request Access", and then select "Attorney"
    d) Fill in the appropriate information and then click "Submit"

  2. Register for the Odyssey Attorney Portal with the public-facing email account on file with the CA State Bar. Please follow the instructions in this document to register: https://www.sanmate.courts.ca.gov/system/files/general-information/howtoregister.pdf

Validating that the emails match is an important component of the court’s process to only allow remote access to the proper data and documents to the proper stakeholders.
