How to Make Payments on Cases Referred for Collections

How to Pay Criminal, Traffic, and Juvenile Cases

Starting August 1, 2023, San Mateo Superior Court has authorized Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP (LGBS, LLP) as a Collection Agency to collect monies on cases where the payment of fines and fees was ordered by a judicial officer in criminal, traffic, and juvenile cases. Linebarger may call you, send you a notice, and/or send you a text message. Be aware that there have been recent scam attempts to impersonate various government entities and their collection agents. If you have questions about the validity of any notice or text you receive from Linebarger, you may call Linebarger directly at (844) 566-6558. Note that any text from Linebarger will contain the law firm's specific branding.

Payment by Credit/Debit Card

You can pay online using credit/debit card at: https://www.lgbswebpayments.com. You will need to enter your court case number in order to make payment.

Payment by Check/Money Order

Check or Money Order should be made payable to: LGBS, LLP. The case number and your phone number should be clearly written on it.

How to Pay Victim Restitution on Court Probation

Victim restitution related to court probation cases is payable to the San Mateo Superior Court.

Payment by Credit/Debit Card

If you are not on a payment plan and want to pay victim restitution and other fines in full, you can pay online with a credit/debit card at the secure portal on the court’s public website: https://odyportal-ext.sanmateocourt.org/

Payment by Check/Money Order

You can mail a check or money order. Please include the case number and your phone number for proper crediting, make payable to San Mateo Superior Court, and mail to:
