Probate Court Temporary Relocation to the Hall of Justice Courthouse October 21, 2024 – January 6, 2025

Redwood City – The San Mateo County Superior Court’s Probate court is temporarily relocating to the Hall of Justice Courthouse in Redwood City beginning October 21.

The Honorable Gilbert T. Brown will preside over all Probate calendars at the Hall of Justice Courthouse from October 21, 2024 – January 6, 2025, with some exceptions. The Honorable Elizabeth M. Hill will preside over Probate calendars on November 8 and November 25 – December 2. Please check the Court’s website or calendar displays for courtroom information, as the courtroom for Probate calendars will be subject to change. There are no scheduled 9:00 a.m. Probate calendars on October 24 and 25, November 21 and 22, and December 19 and 20. Probate ex parte matters will still be heard 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Monday – Friday.

In July, the Honorable Leland Davis, III, Probate Judge for the San Mateo County Superior Court, began presiding over Probate calendars from Courtroom G at the Central Branch Courthouse. The Probate Clerk’s Office and Probate Court Investigators remain located at the Hall of Justice Courthouse.
