Judge Reyna as 2026-2027 Civil Grand Jury Judge

Redwood City, Calif - The Honorable Stephanie Garratt, Presiding Judge of the San Mateo County Superior Court, announced the appointment of the Honorable Renee Reyna, as San Mateo County Civil Grand Jury advisor. Judge Reyna’s term will begin July 1, 2026 and end June 30, 2027.

The application period to serve on the 2026-2027 Civil Grand Jury opens on February 2, 2026 and will close on March 30, 2026. “Any U.S. citizen and San Mateo County resident, 18 years of age or older, of ordinary intelligence, sound judgment and good character, with sufficient knowledge of the English language” is eligible for selection by Judge Reyna. Elected public officials are not eligible.

As the Court strives to obtain a cross section of the county population to serve in this prestigious role, we encourage all interested individuals to apply. After the completion of an interview process, conducted by Judge Reyna, jurors will be selected through a random draw.
