ALERT: Jury Duty Scams
Please be aware of scams targeting prospective jurors. At no time will law enforcement or court officials call you to demand payment or threaten fines for failing to appear for jury duty. If you receive a phone call of this nature, do not provide any personal or financial information and disregard the call immediately. These calls are fraudulent. If you have questions about jury service or believe you’ve been targeted by a scam, please contact the local law enforcement agency. Stay safe and thank you for your service. Individuals may also report jury duty scams and suspicious communications to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
