Law & Motion Hearings:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the times for matters heard by the Civil Law & Motion Department have changed. Starting Monday, March 2, 2020, hearings in the Civil Law & Motion Department will be held at 1:30 p.m. - and no longer held at 9:00 a.m. - Monday through Friday. The times for posting and contesting tentative rulings will not change. The time for hearings in the Department of the Presiding Judge, in the Probate Department, and in the Writs and Receivers Department will not change. (See Local Rules 3.2.2 and 3.10(c), effective January 1, 2020.)

Law & Motion Ex Parte Applications:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the times for ex parte applications for matters heard by the Civil Law & Motion Department have changed. Starting, Monday, March 2, 2020, ex parte applications for all matters in civil actions to be heard in the Law & Motion Department, as set forth in Local Rule 3.2, will be heard at 10:00 a.m. - and no longer heard at 2:00 p.m. - Monday through Friday. The times for ex parte applications in the Department of the Presiding Judge, in the Writs and Receivers Department, and in the Probate Department, will continue to be held daily at 2:00 p.m. (See Local Rules 3.19(b), effective January 1, 2020.)
